@clc1820 So sad. I LOVE talking to my students about making mistakes. That's where the best learning happens. I encourage mistakes in my classroom. It's hard to get past the insecurity that follows when you're wrong.
A7: I tend to lean toward the "doing nothing is boring" type of vibe. Getting engaged in the lesson is way more interesting and fun! It makes the day go by faster too ๐ which is what I say to kids that are on the fence #VCSGreatTeachers
A6: I loved this chapter. Schools that did well didn't just focus on the value of the test scores. They understood the scores mattered but had a significantly broader perspective of student learning. #VCSGreatTeachers
A5: at my previous school we actually did learning walks which were pretty interesting. We went around to observe different classrooms during small group/whole group/math/ELA and then compiled what we got out of it. It was cool to see how everyone did things. #VCSGreatTeachers
A4: teaching people skills is my favorite part. I've always been interested in that part of what we do. I try to integrate it organically when things come up. Which they always do ๐ #VCSGreatTeachers
