My rules for betting on @Polymarket (I'm specialized Football & Tennis)
Here are the 6 rules I never break:

1. Only bet on what I truly know
I stick exclusively to Football and Tennis.
If I don’t understand the sport deeply, I don’t touch it. Specialization > spreading myself thin.

2. Never bet on the same match twice
One match = one bet.
This is especially important when making combos — I never put the same match in multiple combinations. Doubling up is the fastest way to turn one loss into two.

3. Always respect the stake
My standard stake is $200.
If my confidence is higher, I go bigger. If I’m less sure, I go smaller.
But I never bet randomly — the size always matches my conviction.

4. Never go all-in
No matter how “sure” a bet looks, I never put my entire bankroll on one play.
Capital preservation comes first.

5. Always do the research
Before every bet I check:
- Injuries or niggles
- Training reports
- Key players missing (especially important in Football)
- Recent form and surface/conditions
- Upcoming fixtures: in Football, a tough match soon can lead to rotations; in Tennis, players sometimes tank a smaller event to rest for a bigger tournament later.
If the information isn’t clear, I pass.

6. Maximum 3 selections in a combo
I almost never combine more than 3 matches.
The more legs you add, the higher the chance something fails.
The only exception is a pure funbet — and those never go above $20 (while my normal bets are $200).

This system doesn’t guarantee wins, but it keeps me disciplined and alive long-term.

Real Madrid is playing against Espanyol, which is coming off a 3-0 win but against a very weak opponent, I think the match against Madrid will be different with top level players and we rarely get to catch Madrid at 68c

Athletic starts the season at home with a settled roster and few changes from last year, they need to try to make it back to Europe, Sevilla is coming into the game with some key players out and a style of play that hasn’t been entirely convincing despite winning in the first match

In his last 3 matches he’s been broken only once. He’s playing at a very high level and these conditions are very good for him.

Nakashima looked tired against Borges after having to save multiple break points. Nakashima is coming off a final in Montreal and jumped straight back into action in Cincinnati. He has played his last 2 matches in three sets, so a physical dip at some point wouldn’t be surprising.
