Sometimes parents forget we have different clocks, and life was easy for them back in the day than it is now…
Watch and digest this for every struggling queens and kings.
For those grieving someone they wish they had loved better, spoken to more, or made more memories with… 🕊️
Sometimes, we don’t just miss the person we lost, we grieve the relationship we never got to have.
May we learn to cherish our loved ones while we still have them. 🤍
🩵🤍 Full statement by Lionel Messi: “I wrote these words on July 21, two days after the final… today, after what happened with my dad, I’m even more convinced of this decision than before”.
“After all this time since the final, and after thinking about it a lot, I want to tell everyone that I’m retiring from the national team.
"It was a decision that hurt and still hurts deep inside, but I understand that this is the right moment.
"I swear I always gave everything, not only in these last few years when we won everything, but before that too. I always fought and gave everything for this shirt, to bring you happiness and make you feel proud to be Argentine through football.
"There isn’t much time left, and different chapters are coming to an end. This is one that hurts me a lot. I love, I loved, and I will always love being part of the national team. I gave everything I had, and I don’t have anything more to give.
"Also, there are great young players coming through who deserve to be here.
"Thank you for all the love during these 20 years. I’m going to miss hearing you from the inside. Now I’ll be one of you, always supporting from the outside, in the good times and even more in the bad ones.
"Thank you to my family for always being there and for being with me throughout this beautiful but difficult journey. Thank you to every coach, teammate and director I had the chance to share it with. I take with me unforgettable memories and moments.
"I leave with peace and pride, knowing that together with my teammates we gave you moments we once dreamed of. It was crazy to experience all of this with you. I love you!
"Thank you God for making me Argentine.
"Vamos Argentina!
Hello @afcbournemouth
I’m Olaogun, a winger also played as a striker from Nigeria.
I’m not asking for a contract. I’m asking for 7 days on trial to show you what I can do. If I’m not good enough, I’ll walk away with no hard feelings.
I’m fast, direct, and I work harder than anyone on the pitch.
My highlights are here: https://t.co/nD68FCLsMn
Thanks,
Olaogun

Today, I’m praying for the people who are tired of starting over.
The people who made plans for this year and watched life take a different turn.
The people who are trying their best but secretly wonder if it’s enough.
The people who smile in public but carry questions in private.
Lord, as we step into June, give us more than motivation.
Give us direction.
Help us stop chasing things that were never meant for us.
Help us recognise what deserves our time, our energy, and our faith.
This month, let us notice progress where we once saw only problems.
Let us find courage in ordinary days.
And for anyone who feels behind in life right now, may June bring a fresh sense of possibility.
May you discover that a delayed chapter is not a finished story.
I declare that this month will not be defined by pressure.
It will be defined by purpose.
We will not only survive this month, this time around.
Our business, jobs, dreams and wishes will do great exploits and wonders.
June, be kind to us.
And may we be kind to ourselves too.
Amen. 🙏🏾
Happy new month.
Dear all,
Do not let privilege blind your sense of humanity and emotions. The fact that life worked out differently for you does not automatically make you more intelligent, more disciplined or more hardworking than those who are struggling.
Many people are fighting battles you know nothing about... lack of opportunities, unstable homes, financial hardship, discrimination, grief, illness and responsibilities they never asked for. Sometimes the only difference between success and struggle is access, timing, support or luck.
Be humble enough to recognize that your current position is not solely the product of your effort. There are people just as talented, educated, creative and hardworking who simply did not have the same opportunities, connections or safety nets.
So before you judge someone for where they are in life, choose empathy. Speak kindly. Show compassion. Respect people regardless of their status. A little understanding can restore dignity to someone silently carrying the weight of the world.
Never allow comfort to erase your compassion. The true measure of character is not how you treat people above you, but how you treat those who have less, know less or are struggling to survive.
Stay grateful. Stay grounded. Stay human.
Be guided and good morning. 🙏
A teacher once asked students to imagine explaining “content creators” to someone from 1950.
You’re not talking about actors or journalists or tv presenters.
Just regular people recording videos in their bedrooms and building million-dollar businesses from attention.
At the time, it would’ve sounded absurd.
Because the infrastructure didn’t exist yet.
There were no smartphones, no social platforms, no creator economy, no algorithmic distribution.
Every invention had to arrive first before “content creator” could even become a real career.
That’s how career evolution works.
New industries are invisible before the systems supporting them exist.
Which is why many people misunderstand what’s happening right now.
They keep preparing for stable career paths built for older economies.
Meanwhile, entirely new opportunities are forming quietly underneath the surface.
Not everyone losing opportunities today lacks talent.
Some are simply optimized for a world that is disappearing.
The modern economy increasingly rewards adaptability, digital visibility, communication, personal branding and speed of learning.
Skills that barely mattered at scale decades ago.
And this change is still early.
Many future job titles probably sound ridiculous today.
Just like “YouTuber” once did.
The people who thrive next won’t necessarily be the most experienced.
They’ll usually be the people most willing to evolve before the new world fully makes sense to everyone else.
