The Socialist International Women’s Council Meeting, held on May 21–22, 2025, in Istanbul and hosted by the Republican People’s Party (CHP), brought together participants under the theme “Women’s Rights, Social Justice, and Peace in a Constantly Changing World.” CHP Youth was represented at the council by our Vice President Melis Asya Bozali.

During the meeting, our party’s Secretary General, Selin Sayek Böke, was elected as the Vice President of Socialist International Women, making us proud by representing Türkiye on an international platform.

We wish Selin Sayek Böke great success in her new role. She continues to inspire not only in Türkiye but also on a global scale in the ongoing fight for equality and justice. Her efforts give us strength and hope for a more just and peaceful world shaped by the voices of women.
