Thank you to everyone that attended and supported our nurses day celebration todayπ. Hearing the voices of our amazing nurses made me feel both proud and a little emotional. Wonderful to share the day with our colleagues across Solent and the IOW too. We are #StrongerTogether
@Hawthorns1PICU @echizah@hullpj@ClareMounce@mattharding64@NHSEngland@NHSMillion@nicky1mac@julake10 It was inspiring to hear about the fantastic work you are doing in support staff who are subject to hate crime. Abuse is never ok and must not be tolerated. Thank you for taking such great care of staff who sadly face this within their working day.
To be a nurse is an honour and a privilege. We are alongside people during their darkest days, share moments of joy and connect at a human level. Nursing has given me so much. A sense of purpose, a community and many wonderful friends.
Thank you all π
#IND2023 @Southern_NHSFT
@susannarayner78 @Southern_NHSFT Was wonderful to meet so many of our fabulous social worker colleagues. A great day. Lots of thanks to you for organising it π
Today, as always, I am very proud to be a mental health nurse. Big shout out to all my amazing colleagues past and present on this year's mental health nurses day. You are amazing! β
@SyedaSyeda Brilliant series. loved it so much. Only thing I would have loved to see would have been the reveals for those that were banished/ murdered. I'd have loved to have seen Maddie's "knew it" moment
I was appalled watching the dreadful treatment of people in such vulnerable circumstances in last nightβs #Panorama@nmcnews has opened fitness to practise cases
My thoughts are with the people & families who should never have experienced this

The abhorrent behaviour of nursing staff on display on the BBC's #Panorama tonight is a disgrace to the profession of mental health nursing.
There is no place in nursing for such awful practice, and no excuse. Ever.
