@TheDisDude No posts promoting it on any of their social media also left a bad impression like they didnt even want to host it. Then also telling people that if you show up hoping to join in case someone doesnt show up was also a bad feeling.

I’m very disappointed.

There’s supposed to be a CCQ in Palm Harbor, FL tomorrow. For weeks we’ve been trying to figure out what prizing looks like for this tournament with no clear event description. Well there’s finally one now, and it’s just the free promos that were sent to them? With a $30 entry?

My friends and I called multiple times to attempt to get clarity just to be met with multiple rude responses from the shop. I moved my whole work schedule around to be able to attend, assuming this would be a tournament held to a higher standard with prizing similar to pretty much every other CCQ I’ve seen. It really sucks to have such poor and last minute communication.

This was our best shot at a drivable CCQ event, and now it feels like it’s not even worth going to. The whole situation is so discouraging and I do believe my friends and I will no longer be attending. Shops who are trusted to hold these high-level events need to be held to a higher standard.

@DinhKhangPham Proudest moment was winning my first set champs. Luckily with the winnings I was able to put it towards buying my first real mattress for me and my wife, we had been using a cheap mattress and it has really been a blessing.
