If we need to decarbonize the energy system extremely fast, does it *really* make sense to divert energy to supporting elite consumption? Or to the production of SUVs, fast fashion, private jets, or other socially less-necessary goods? No, it is irrational and dangerous.

A 5yr boy died after being sent home from hospital. They were told by a Dr it was the worst case of tonsillitis he’d ever seen. But like many hospitals no beds were available. It’s heartbreaking something easily treatable like tonsillitis can take a child’s life in the UK in 2022
