@RetorMx @diegoirosales Gracias a este extenso trabajo de restauración se hicieron importantes descubrimientos históricos en el subsuelo de la catedral. Ahora, como creyente simplemente responderé con Mahler: “la tradición es la preservación del fuego, no el culto a las cenizas.”

@Pedro_Torrijos Será porque las Meninas no son un edificio en uso. Que, por cierto, el mantenimiento y restauración de las pinturas requiere cada cierto tiempo que se les limpie el barniz viejo y la suciedad. Y por lo general quedan relindas y con colores más vivos. Sólo digo.

🎨Today, The King unveiled a new portrait by @RealJonathanYeo at Buckingham Palace. The painting - commissioned by The Draper’s Company - is the first official portrait to be completed since His Majesty’s Coronation. It will hang in Draper’s Hall in London.
