I never thought I'd find myself sleeping in a McDonald's restaurant, but life had other plans. I lost my job in Johannesburg, and suddenly, everything came crashing down. I couldn't afford rent, and before I knew it, I was homeless. The streets can be cruel, but McDonald's became my temporary haven – a place that was open late, warm, and relatively safe.
It was tough, but I refused to give up. I knew I wasn't defined by my circumstances. I started visiting local shelters, seeking job opportunities, and networking with people who could help me get back on my feet. One thing I learned along the way was the importance of asking for help when you need it. Don't be afraid to reach out to friends, family, or local organizations – there's always support available.
Determination and resilience became my driving forces. I remember the nights spent in McDonald's, typing away on my phone, applying for jobs, and making plans for a better future. People might see homelessness as a setback, but I saw it as a chance to rebuild and grow stronger.
If you're going through something similar, know that you're not alone. Hold on to hope, and never lose faith in yourself. Your situation might be tough, but it's not permanent. Keep pushing forward, and know that better days are ahead. You are capable of overcoming any obstacle, and your story is still being written. Don't hesitate to ask for help – it's a sign of strength, not weakness. #Resilience #Determination #HopeInTheDark #AskForHelp
It was an honor to represent Maga Agri at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show 2025.
Engaging with stakeholders and showcasing our organic fertilizers, soil health solutions, and market-ready products reminded me why we do what we do: feeding the soil to feed the nation.

Both macadamia and blueberries are high-value export crops, but they serve different long-term goals.
🫐 Blueberries start producing fruit in 2–3 years and have a productive lifespan of around 15 years. They’re perfect for partners who want a slightly quicker ROI, steady seasonal harvests, and strong demand in the UK, EU, and UAE.
🌰 Macadamia takes a bit longer, 4 to 5 years before full harvest, but the trees can produce for 40 years or more. They’re ideal for building generational wealth and tapping into high-demand markets like China and the US.
At Agri-Harvest, we help you choose based on your vision, then we manage the orchard from soil prep to harvest.
Build your long-term legacy. Grow with Agri-Harvest Partners.

Citrus farming is more than refreshing, it’s reliable, scalable, and in high demand across Africa and the Middle East.
Here’s why our partners are leaning into citrus:
🍊 Commercial production starts in Year 3
📈 Yield increases every season up to Year 7
💵 Long lifespan: 25–30 years of harvest
🌍 High demand for oranges, lemons, and mandarins in export markets
💧 Grows exceptionally well in Zimbabwe’s Region 2 and 3 zones
With expert management, smart irrigation, and the right varieties, your orchard becomes a long-term income-generating asset.

@ChairmanThePlug The Land Tenure Act isn’t about party politics, it’s about national progress. As someone playing a small part in building agri-enterprises with youth & women in the SADC, I see it as a tool to unlock funding, create jobs & grow food security, not political narratives. Let’s build
