Putting the context aside… crying over fictional characters/media is not a new thing or abnormal. I’m sure half of the people who were meme-ing Morgan have cried or screamed or acted a fool over their favorite shows/games, and they’re just massive hypocrites. Think about it…

You have Cheeto dust covered nerds who lose their minds in movie theatres, and no one bats an eye. There are grown ass men who break tables and punch walls over losing in Madden, a fictional sports simulator. There are girls who cry over rom-coms. People who cry reading books.

Feeling emotional over a fictional character being literally raped/physically assaulted on screen is not the cringe hehe haha people want it to be. That’s just having basic empathy.

People are just too afraid of their own fucking self image online that they bandwagon on what they think will make themselves look better by comparison.
