I finished my treatments yesterday!!! Got some good news from my oncologist also- we were planning on a second surgery to remove some more cancerous cells but she says that it looks like we may not need to do that because the radiation may have gotten rid of them!

We will know more in the coming weeks/months of course. I will have another PET scan in about 90 days. I spent 6 days hospitalized due to a staph infection in the area where I was receiving radiation- my body just didn’t have the immune system to fight it. But I am on the mend!

Also please send your thoughts/prayers/well wishes my way. I was diagnosed with cancer recently. I had surgery on Monday where they removed 31 lymph nodes. Following up with chemo/radiation starting early next month. I will try and keep everyone in the loop. ❤️❤️❤️
