Dual-Track Agile is an approach to product development that emphasizes discovery and delivery tracks happening concurrently but independently.

The Discovery track is where new ideas are explored and validated. The goal is to identify valuable, usable, and feasible solutions before anything is passed over to the delivery track. Techniques used in discovery may include customer interviews, prototyping, and usability testing.

The Delivery track is where solutions are built, tested, and released. This track focuses on implementing the valuable, usable, and feasible solutions identified in the Discovery track.

Dual-Track Agile is useful for product managers because it helps manage risks and uncertainties.

By validating ideas and designs before they reach the delivery phase, it ensures that the engineering team spends their time building things that have been vetified to be valuable to the user and the business.

This helps in reducing wasted time and effort on building the wrong things, and helps focus the product on meeting user needs and business goals.
