Dear young Nigerian,
At times, it may feel as if others are way ahead of you in life. This creates a feeling of inadequacy. Don't feel pressured to impress others around you. Run at your own pace as you journey through life. You are not late. You are simply on your way. Thrive!
Don’t let imposter syndrome fool you into thinking you are not capable of doing something big.
Draw inspiration from that key moment in your past experience.
Be confident in yourself!
People who are extraordinary, are not extraordinary at everything...
- Be very selective about what you want to be great at.
- Don't chase a lot of things.
- Don't give everything equal effort.
Choose where you want to be great.
Be deliberate about it.
Regret looks back. Worry looks around. But vision looks up. And the psalmist said I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from which comes my help. Whatever you are carrying today, lift your eyes. Your help is not in the situation. Your help is in the God who is bigger than it.
I don't pray for an easy life. I pray for the strength to handle a hard one.
God doesn't make us superhuman. He gives us the courage to keep walking when we are weak.
“It is not good for us to trust in our merits, in our virtues or our righteousness; but only in God's free pardon, as given us through faith in Jesus Christ.” –John Wycliffe
Dear young Nigerian,
To optimise your productivity daily do these:
1. Cut down on what distracts you.
2. Prioritise what adds value to you.
3. Make out time to get enough rest.
4. Learn to be still and quite in between your day.
5. Eat healthy and stay hydrated.
6. Thrive.
As a young person, try many things.
Take calculated risks. Risks that make you recover faster, if things don’t workout well.
Don’t stay idle thinking life will be easy. The truth is you get tougher to make your life easier.
"Christ can save you from the bane of boredom. He awaits to give you a sense of direction and take the dissatisfaction out of your life." —Billy Graham
