Ok so here’s my story. It’s 12:17am on November 1st, I just experienced maybe the worst day of my life. On Monday, I had triple bypass surgery at 43 years old. I have 3 kids and I’m happy I have survived this and to still see their faces is truly remarkable.

I shouldn’t be here — but I am.
And I’m not wasting it.

From this moment on, I’m doing everything I’ve ever wanted to do.
No more waiting. No more limits.

You know they told me I was only working at 45% capacity probably for years. I’m expecting to be at 90-100% now. That’s 100% more Joe for the world. I hope they’re ready. You’re going to wanna stick around to see how this all plays out just FYI. I’ll be updating as often as I can and as my energy levels come back.

Day two arrives, this is worse. Now I’m fully awake and in the worst pain in my life. I’m writing this from my hospital bed at Barnes. I’ll update again when I can. I’ll continue with this story about my experience with Bypass at 43 soon. Thanks to all who read this far.

I felt like I was hit between two semi trucks going full speed and then pieced back together. This was not going to be easy. Sure they pump you full of medication and pain is starting to become managed but it’s just a race to the moment of where you can just try and sleep it off.
