And we all know they’d get a bollocking from trainer/owner if another couple of whip uses may win them a G1. New rules still incentivise breaking rules if it means taking a G1, particularly for less experienced jockeys

Jockeys would be under more pressure from connections to stay in the limit or face potentially losing rides in the future + wouldn’t ruin a jockeys season or financially destabilise
