English rugby is digging its own grave, led by people that do not understand the art of the game. It’s steeped in tradition and heritage which is out dated and the very thing shackling the game. The game is coached at step 2/3, lowest common denominator. Never step one, game understanding/intelligence, spacial recognition, nuance. It is all how tough can I show to the world I am. Bravado. It will only ever bring a certain level of performance. Open discussions where coaches welcome new ideas that feel uncomfortable to them because it’s the only way it will grow. Don’t be Sam Allardyce when you can be Pep Guardiola. Attack space in every aspect and build confidence in players decision making not conform to a plan. Have a framework but be flexible. All aligned under the vision of someone who you want to follow or have qualities that you admire… knowledge, compassion, passion, emotional intelligence, love, honesty and humility. If you’re trained to think and not to feel you’re always going to be one step behind. 🙏🏽❤️
Get to Airport 2.5 hours before your flight, 2.5 hours later, not even 1/2 way through the queue to security and miss our @British_Airways flight. No comms, help, or assistance, totally unacceptable @Schiphol, absolute joke #schipholairport
@JannekeHofman1 Nothing from the Airline or Airport telling us unfortunately and 2.5 hours usually more than enough time. They actually said to not arrive 4 hours before 🤷🏼♂️ shocking
“Nice bowling Shane, keep it up Warney” will always be remembered by my generation 🇦🇺🏏 Unreal spinner now spinning the clouds from above. RIP #shanewarne
How have England Men’s football team won SPOTY Team of The Year?! Didn’t win anything when multiple other nominated teams did and were much better! #madness#SPOTY
TRY!!! Another odd score with the wind playing tricks!
@babadekunle kick goes sideways to Joe Bridger on the right, his kick gets charged down only to bounce straight back into his arms to scoot clear for a score! Conversion drifts wide but 12-0.
TRY!!! A brilliant team score as @babadekunle gets us on the front foot with a brilliant surge and off-load.
Bryant finds Joe Bridget and he shows his pace to cross on a diagonal into the right-hand corner.
A great conversion makes it 7-19.
TRY! Some nice play from the Whites ends with Connor Hayhow making a nice off-load in midfield and the ball being spun out to Joe Bridger who crosses on the right. 5-7.
🎉 SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉
The first name on our team sheet and leading the charge against some serious competition at the @rosslynpark Floodlit 7s this Thursday night is none other than our Cappy @JoeBridger🔥
