@TheME7Podcast @TVFTM To be clear, we didn’t appeal. Charge came late on Tuesday eve. Accepted the charge but disputed the length of the ban on Weds, case was heard yesterday afternoon.

Second time this season that if the ref handles it on the day, the punishment is less than after the fact. Bonkers.

"He watched the game [Colchester] the other night, he was going to watch Cheltenham and he wanted to get involved in team selection and tactics.

"I got a call again last night and he had been discharged from hospital. Really good progress."
