@rudysarzo I spent a six week college break in LA in 1981. I was fascinated by the mix of bands listed in street newspapers that promoted live music in Hollywood. I’m sure you all influenced each other. FYI - saw your blistering set at Dayton Hara Arena in 1982 w/ Night Ranger opening.
@Super70sSports One of the rare times that mom was wrong. This looks like a Montgomery Ward model - bought one of these in the mid-80s on closeout at a Montgomery Ward outlet in Cincinnati! Kept that sucker quite a while. Massive. Hard to move. Worked fine.
The head of a federal commission reviewing President Trump’s planned 250-foot triumphal arch said that he believed a federal law limiting the height of construction in Washington, D.C., should not apply to the controversial project. https://t.co/IxiEXAU7hp

A buffalo named “Donald Trump” is drawing crowds in Bangladesh after going viral online. The animal, named for its blond tuft of hair, was spared from slaughter and is now living at a zoo.
Endorsed. Nonpartisan. Love how @iamrodneysmith is helping build a nation of people who care for neighbors and who have the opportunity to be a business owner down the road. 💪🏽👏
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸

The Trump administration has announced it will dismantle a $368 million deep-ocean monitoring system that provides critical data on the world’s oceans. The decision is sparking alarm among experts that US is taking eyes off the oceans at a dangerous time. https://t.co/VcifYxiYcR

@Mikehomeseller The opening tune from this record shuffled up on my morning walk and I’m now listening to the entire album. Never saw the band live, but this recording had its day for the better part of a year in apartments and dorms @ohiou when I was an undergrad. What a time it was.
