@AingeBarbara@philipnolan1 If you like McKinty , you might like Brian McGilloway. He has a series featuring a border county Garda Inspector that I enjoyed as much as the Devlin stories.
@Brian_Lally
Hi Brian, just listened back to Saturday’s show. Really enjoyed the Guy Clark covers but it seems wrong to do a show like that without including Freddie White.
Thanks for the great shows
@Brian_Lally@SteveEarle@EricBibb@RTERadio1 Hi Brian, just listening back to last night’s show, really enjoying it. When you introduced “Marie” thought you might play Willie’s version although I enjoyed the one you played, you might Willie’s another night. Keep up the great work
@ThatEricAlper Best anything in entertainment is always going to be subjective but anyway, in no particular order, Sinead O’Connor, Linda Ronstadt. Aretha Franklin. At least that’s today’s thought
@ThatEricAlper Kris Kristofferson- debut album included Help Me Make It Through The Night, For The Good Times, Sunday Morning Coming Down & Me And Bobby McGee. Follow that.
@fallon_donal Seem to remember a Festival Folk Week, late 70s with a solo Mary Black as a supporting act. Also Harry Chapin about 80, got the ticket late & ended up behind the speakers. He invited us all to sit in the aisles, great show
@gretchenpeters@kimrichey Travelled to Belfast for the show at the Mac on Wednesday. What a memorable gig, just like all the other times we seen you play. Gretchen & the band gave their usual fabulous performance and we’ll be listening to more of Kim Riches too. Best wishes for the future.
@MaiaDunphy@welovepulp Would smaller venues work for you? Saw some fabulous gigs in the last couple of years in Seamus Ennis in the Naul, Draoicht in Blanchardstown, Hawks Well in Sligo, Venue in Ratoath.
Is anyone else having problems launching RTÉ Radio 1 and 2fm in TuneIn app on Google Hub? The app is working normally for me on other platforms but won’t bring up RTÉ stations through my device.
