Center Aaron Brewer and the Miami Dolphins reached agreement today on a 3-year, $52.5 million extension that includes $37 million guaranteed. The deal makes Brewer one of the highest-paid centers in the league in a deal done by Kyle McCarthy of Athletes First.
People around the league believe Miami is CLOSING IN on a Giannis deal, per @HPbasketball
โHereโs what I will tell you. Much to my alarm, this is not reported from Miamiโs side or Milwaukeeโs side, this is from around the league. People around the league say โyeah it sounds like Miamiโs closing in on Giannisโโ

Amongst all the Dolphin players who have exited the team in the latest roster overhaul, whoโs the one player youโll be rooting for on Sundays?
Mine is Jaylen Waddle.
Guy ONLY knew how to work hard, keep his head down, never threw shade, and stayed humble.
Deserves the best.
@DouglieDoWrong@finfan3493 If Waddle were to receive a top five-ish WR contract then that means he would've taken a leap and yes.
A first round pick is still a big asset.
@DouglieDoWrong@finfan3493 The Chiefs got a haul for Hill despite the fact Miami had to make him the highest paid WR in the NFL.
Eagles just got a 1st for a disgruntled Brown
@DouglieDoWrong Honestly, yes.
Unless he has a 1500-yard or so season. Either way, Broncos would have the leverage there.
Waddle doesn't seem like the type to hold out. Especially if he still has two more years under contract.
@DouglieDoWrong His extension was just about to kick in.
His next contract extension probably comes after 2027.
I don't believe Sully's reason tbh. I think it was more of a case of them probably not seeing him as a WR1 and felt the pick + cap space was more valuable
