@MeriwetherFarms It will be interesting to see how the market reacts. It can go 2 ways. National herd size shrinks and prices go up. On the other hand if consumers (wrongly) think beef is now dangerous demand drops, prices plunge. We have calculated a $8/cwt increase cost on our producing end.
@OkieStotts According to the USDA and Agrilife meetings I have sat through. Any ranch confirmed will be quarantined and a fly drop in the the area. But that is only confirmed locations. Many animals will be infected, but never seen. Deer, pets, people,etc... good luck stopping movement.
@Grunt2A I was charged by a boar this last Dove season. Gave him two barrels in the face at like 5 yards. It blinded him and crippled his front legs, but did not kill him. Had to finish him off with a knife. That was #6 high brass.
I don't want to start a rumor or anything, but have you noticed that since we changed from the Juicebox to the Icebox we have had nothing but injuries and bad luck.
@RealJamesWoods Because humans have an innate bloodlust, you, me, everyone. Our religions and institutions teach us to quell that lust. The left and Islam embrace it and that is the only thing they see eye-to-eye.
@OGCrimsonJester Because we have migrated to a victim based society, and away from an honor society. We are so obsessed with being victims, even our heroes have to be victims in some way. It's pathetic really. I prefer ordinary people rising up in extraordinary situations stories.
@MichaelGrahamSC@G00NB0TCHEF Sarge, as a fellow tux-lover, I am going to share a secret I learned from mine (Queenie). Evidently, when cats kneed dough, makin' biscuits, etc.... They aren't re-enacting feeding....
They are casting protection and healing spells on you, their favorite human.
Just so you know.
