Watching Governor Healey demand to know why our energy bills are so high is like watching an arsonist offer to lead the fire investigation.
You were the Attorney General for 8 years. You sued to block natural gas pipeline expansion (Access Northeast), strangling our supply. You championed the shutdown of Pilgrim Nuclear Station, which removed 14% of our carbon-free base load power.
And what was the plan to replace it? Putting the entire state's grid at risk by relying on just two massive extension cords to New York and Canada (hydro). You shut down our own ability to produce reliable power in-state and outsourced our survival to long-distance transmission lines that are vulnerable to failure.
These "delivery fees" you are suddenly confused by are the direct cost of that reckless strategy. You can't spend a decade dismantling our energy independence and then act shocked when we have to pay a premium to import power from someone else. We aren't paying for "corporate greed"; we are paying for your resume.
Most Massachusetts residents are completely unaware that they are living on a 'Just-in-Time' power grid with zero strategic depth.
We have effectively offshored our energy security. The state has shut down its only reliable winter backup (Mystic Station) and replaced it with a dependency on two critical import corridors: the Phase II HVDC line from Quebec and the New York interconnects. These are effectively single points of failure. If those transmission lines are severed—whether by cyberattack, ice, or sabotage—there is no 'Plan B.'
The numbers simply do not work. New England peak winter demand hits 21,000 MW. Even if every offshore wind project was built and running at 100% capacity (which is physically impossible in winter), they would barely cover 7% of that load. We are betting the survival of the state on the hope that a transmission line doesn't fail and an LNG tanker arrives in Boston Harbor exactly on time. That is not a grid; that is a gamble.
@Cointelegraph Or the quality of crypto YouTube is crap, and most people just go to AI for breakdowns and analysis instead of being shilled a sh*t coin.
6/6: P.S. Volt Typhoon isn't hypothetical—Chinese hackers were inside Littleton Electric's systems for months in 2023, prepping for disruption. With tensions rising, MA's grid is a prime target. Wake up!

🧵1/6: I'm pretty sure MA Gov. Healey @MassGovernor is either working for foreign interests (those China meetings?) or completely inept.
How do you destroy all your bridges before the new one's even built? Shutting down power stations like Mystic before new ones are operational is insane. #EnergyPolicyFail
5/6: Healey's green push is great in theory, but blocking pipelines & ignoring affordability hikes is reckless. Time to demand real resilience before it's too late.

The demonic do things they should avoid and avoid the things they should do. They have no sense of uprightness, purity, or truth.
“There is no God,” they say, “no truth, no spiritual law, no moral order. The basis of life is sex; what else can it be?” Holding such distorted views, possessing scant discrimination, they become enemies of the world, causing suffering and destruction. Hypocritical, proud, and arrogant, living in delusion and clinging to deluded ideas, insatiable in their desires, they pursue their unclean ends. Although burdened with fears that end only with death, they still maintain with complete assurance, “Gratification of lust is the highest that life can offer.” — The Bhagavad Gita
Give it time. When Governor Healey and Mayor Wu start shipping people from metro Boston to outer towns like Plymouth due to lack of resources and housing, the quality of life in those towns will drop significantly, crime will rise, and police departments will be overtaxed. Then they'll sing a different tune. Give them what they want. It has already slowly started in Hingham via the Quincy-Weymouth route. They're just frogs in slowly boiling water.
