Now answer one question. Your husband brings home a child from another woman. He says the child is innocent and asks you to love him as your own. Do you accept him with your whole heart, raise him and treat him like your own blood? Or does innocence only bind men?
Honestly, this entire post just validates the depressing argument that men are only truly valued when they’re providing and specifically when they're earning more than their wives. If the roles were reversed and you had lost your job, I seriously doubt he would have thrown that in your face.

That’s a resentment you’ve been holding onto for a while that finally slipped out. I genuinely hope he's doing okay mentally, because men rarely open up about this kind of pressure and usually just suffer in silence. Try to show a little more empathy. The guy is likely trying as hard as he can.
Men are facing serious challenges in Ghana and Africa, trust me! I don’t think it happens in other continents where men has to solely provide everything in a marriage home. It’s very sad!
