Today, my campaign team visited the good people of Rumuaghulo Ward 7 in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
It was a valuable opportunity to interact with the people, listen to their concerns, and strengthen our connection with the community. We also used the visit to engage with our committed ward leaders and ensure that our committee members remain active and fully engaged at the grassroots.
Together, we will continue to build stronger relationships with our people and work towards a better future for our communities.

No! It is very wrong to equate the alleged issues surrounding Wike with the entire Ikwerre ethnic group in Rivers State.
The actions and compromises of the assembly members affect not only the Ikwerre people but every other part of Rivers State. Unfortunately, they have all failed to stand up for the people who voted for them.

One man’s alleged sins cannot be used to condemn or tarnish the image of an entire ethnic group. We must learn to distinguish between an individual’s actions and the identity of a whole people. The people of Rivers State deserve fairness, accountability, and responsible leadership not ethnic blame.

Yesterday, it was a privilege to join members of our great party, the NDC, including House of Representatives and Assembly Members, to welcome our Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and Vice Presidential Candidate, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to Rivers State for a town hall meeting with the people.

The atmosphere was nothing short of electrifying! Together, we believe Nigeria will be O.K. 🇳🇬✊🏽

There are three things I know I’m not perfect at doing:
1. Cheating!
I sincerely don’t know how to cheat. 😂 You can easily tell whenever I’m cheating because I’m very nonchalant about it. I’m honestly not even good at hiding things. 😭
2. Keeping malice.
I don’t care how much you hurt or betray me; holding a grudge is just not natural to me. Especially when I’m attached to you or we’ve been friends for years. No matter what happens, it’s usually very difficult for me to completely shut you out.
3. Letting money come between me and my relationships.
I don’t like letting money affect my relationship with my friends or business colleagues. Of course, money matters, but I value genuine relationships and people more than letting financial issues destroy a good connection

It’s both funny and, frankly, a bitter reality to see how difficult it seems for some political parties and their candidates to freely engage with certain traditional leaders and elders in Obio/Akpor even to the point where taking a simple photograph together can become a sensitive matter.

What a time to be alive in Obio/Akpor! One can only hope that our political space continues to evolve toward greater openness, freedom of association, and respect for every political party and its candidates. Nigeria will be O.K
