The best way to encourage women to have children and to cut childcare costs is to have an economy in which one parent works and earns enough to have a good life for the family.

Most women do want to stay home with their children, at least until they go to kindergarten. It is agony leaving an eight week old baby with a stranger.

Grandma and grandpa should be able to enjoy retirement and visit children, not be responsible for raising them.
