Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only come from you.
At the end of life what really matters is not what we bought, but what we built; not what we got, but what we shared; not our competence, but our character; and not our success, but our significance. Live a life that matters. Live a life of love.
Happy Valentine’s Day to my beautiful valentine. There’s nobody else I’d rather spend the rest of my life with. My heart, my love, my life, my best friend.
My friends, you are not alone. Know that you are not alone. Life is hard. Some days can be tough. But here you are, pushing through, persevering, winning, challenging yourself, growing… don’t stop. You’re doing a great job.
My Christmas wish is simple. I don’t need more things, more noise, or more stuff under the tree. I just hope everyone I care about is happy and healthy. Because when you have those two things, everything else feels manageable.

On this cold, rainy, and windy day, I’m reminded that even in the storm, there’s warmth in gratitude and peace in perspective. It’s incredible what happens when you start giving more energy to what you love, instead of what weighs you down.
On October 12th, 1996, on a beautiful autumn day on Long Island, I married the love of my life, my beautiful wife, Barbara. 29 years, 29 ways to say I love you. Thank you for your love, our home, and our three amazing children. Love you now and forever.
There’s a fine line between doing what is right and doing what is best. Right fixes the moment, best builds the future. The challenge is knowing when to choose, and having the courage to follow through.
When I was young, family was everything. Sunday dinners, neighbors stopping by for coffee and cake, laughter in every corner. Time has changed, but the warmth of love and connection is timeless. Cherish those who make you feel at home.
Life has a way of pulling us into the “what ifs” of tomorrow. But this verse reminds us that peace is found in today. Worry steals our energy, our joy, and our ability to fully live in the moment. When we release fear and doubt, we open space for faith, gratitude, and presence.
We live in a world that constantly pulls us in every direction, but those pockets of time that are truly yours are priceless. Whether it’s a quiet walk in nature, coffee at your favorite spot, getting lost in a good book, or sharing laughs with family and friends, lean into it.
Thinking today about the strength of my mom. While Dad worked nonstop, she raised four boys, ran the house, cooked amazing meals, and somehow made each of us feel special. Now, in her later years, she’s cared for by others, but her love and sacrifices live on in us. Love you mom!
It’s time to play, “What the heck are we growing in our garden??”… well, I know those are cherry tomatoes (my fav), but what the heck is this other thing?? Zucchini? Squash? #vegetables#garden#gardening#summer

Not just a prayer, but a way of life… to accept what is beyond our control, not with resignation, but with peace. To act, speak, and love with purpose. And to harness that wisdom to know the difference… perhaps the hardest part of all.
“Today is a good day for a good day.” Simple, light-hearted, and powerful. This quote is a reminder that every morning offers a fresh start. We can’t control everything that comes our way, but we can choose our attitude, our effort, and how we treat others.
