@MarvelFan4222 @manitobahydro No argument, re: 3;30 am estimated restore time. The guy on the phone didn't specify whether 3:30 was meant for my area (Pembina/McGillivray) or for everywhere. I salute our ancestors who (100+ years ago) had no hydro or AC. How did they survive? I know i couldnt.

@Steven_Styles7 @manitobahydro I phoned to report the outage in my area (Pembina/McGillivray) & they said that power in that area should be restored by approximately 3:30 am (for what that's worth🙄). Not sure about other areas.

@MarvelFan4222 @manitobahydro I did endure an hour & 30 minutes on hold to report the outage (south Pembina area), because the website kept glitching. They answered about 45 minutes ago. They're aware of said outage(s) & power will be restored in my area by approx. 3:30 am. I'll believe it when i see it!🙄

Power out between Pembina/Jubilee & Pembina/McGillivray since 11:35 PM CDT (Wednesday, July 29, 2026). Had 3 or 4 mini-outages in the 40 minute time period before that.

@historyrock_ Interesting. Page/Yardbirds ripped off "Dazed And Confused" from Jake Holmes, who wrote it 1967, before The Yardbirds version. And later in '68, Page/Zeppelin ripped off the previous ripoff to include it on the 1st Zep LP. Holmes ended up suing LZ & won an out of court settlement

@60sPsychJukebox I'm ok with her getting a big out of court settlement & an album mention, i.e. "vocal by Clare Torry", but she should NOT have received a songwriting credit. Richard Wright wrote it. She's a session musician & was asked to improvise a solo vocal over it. That is NOT SONGWRITING

@HumansNoContext The internet. Instead of its original promise of bringing us together, it's helping the process of tearing us apart. It does some good for humanity, but overall, it does more harm.
