@coolsport00 I said " In the mirror". Did they stop working as well? (The mirror broke because you looked at it is now off the table, even though it's a viable answer)
@erikhinderer@ABidlen A very proud moment, both watching your kid absolutely killing it on the drums and knowing your current neighbors may hate you just as much as the ones when you were his age for the same reason. #followinginfootsteps
@VMSpot@erikhinderer@coolsport00@importcarguy@vtimd I like to think each stack (2 heads and 2 cabs) = 11. Then multiply by how many stacks you feel like loading in. I was never mic'd when we played bars or small venues. 2 proud moments were getting a nod from Lemmy when we opened for them in Syracuse and Eric Adams (Manowar).
@coolsport00 I'm a firm believer in finding a custom builder. Oh course I have wreck it Ralph hands so that goes without saying. Once you know what you like, a custom builder ( like Van) can dial in everything you want without sacrificing. Main brands do many things well, but never 100%.
@coolsport00 Start by getting what you can afford. That will turn into what can you fit. That will become what U-store facility has the best security, followed by finding what you really love. Then comes the sell off or bartering bonanza. Welcome to our world Shane.
@erikhinderer@VMSpot@coolsport00@importcarguy@vtimd I used to hardwire 50w plexis with the channels jumped into 100w bassmaster plexis. The 50s were basically distortion pedals and the 100s were pure volume. Loud and proud! Had many rack mount / pedal hoarders scratching their heads on how I got my tone. Ahhhhhh. The 80s.
@coolsport00 I still have a few guitars. Dont play as much as I'd like, but they are there when I need to noodle around. My go to guitars are Phat Guitars by Van Flowers
