@RealKeithDirty@yuhfvfdderk@casinooasis14 @nieciekawey @mspixieriot @emmaisafish @morningwitchy Who said amateur? A lot of the time these are people with University degrees in design. Anyway at least you kind of conceded that they should be paid and the contest is overall a bad thing.
@_Artemyst_ @R_WolfmaNN@PlayWarframe Calling de "not a big team" is far from true anymore. But they also have an insane job ahead of them. The game was never built with these features in mind, huge swathes of code will likely need to be completely rewritten. Besides it's not like you can't play the game atm.
@RealKeithDirty@yuhfvfdderk@casinooasis14 @nieciekawey @mspixieriot @emmaisafish @morningwitchy Yes but those people SHOULD be able to make a living from their art. People often don't pay for the photographs they use or the artwork they set as their phone background. There is enough work out there, but there is this illusion that they shouldn't pay for it.
@RealKeithDirty@yuhfvfdderk@casinooasis14 @nieciekawey @mspixieriot @emmaisafish @morningwitchy Do you not consider graphic designers artists? Cinematographers that shoot for advertisements? Photographers that do pictures for magazines? Artists are more than just people who paint or draw, UI designers? Website designers? Artists fill a huge amount of roles in society.
@jarroddicker Wouldn't this just add an additional cost to the business owner with literally 0 benefit? I don't think anyone wants to show off their Netflix subscription. What reason would any business have to invest in this?
@RealKeithDirty@yuhfvfdderk@casinooasis14 @nieciekawey @mspixieriot @emmaisafish @morningwitchy This could have been a job opportunity for someone, instead hundreds of people will do free concept work and 1 person will be underpaid for their design. Artists definitely do not work "for love", they work so they can eat and live in a home.
@PixelBushYT@GavinVerhey It's basically an auto include that limits the amount of unique cards featured in red decks. I think the format is better without it in terms of deck building. That said it's far from the biggest offender.
@shrimp_the@StrategicOwl@jasonschreier Microsoft is magnitudes larger in terms of bet worth and the amount of money it can throw around, it's the 3rd biggest company world wide by market cap.
@Funnyman69_ @w00t000@TroyBakerVA@neejeeha @VoiceverseNFT I think you misread that tweet, they are saying they COULDNT make this if it wasn't an nft (implying obviously that it is). Still an awful product.
@ChloeJadeSkye @9forMortalMen@jeremyww @Obi_High @astralsflame Basically if the controller of the pact misses the trigger, any opponent can choose to remind them at any point during their turn, at which point the trigger goes on the stack and they have to pay it. So you can wait until they tap out to cast a spell.
@9forMortalMen @ChloeJadeSkye @jeremyww @Obi_High @astralsflame Hold on, I thought missing a mandatory trigger was a rules infraction for BOTH players, your opponent is required to remind you to pay or else they are also held responsible. So no you can't pay for pact after playing a land lol
