Side note
I hope William the young Southampton intern that got caught with the filming is okay and has people around him
As the magnitude of the actions he took, presumably under instruction by higher people at the club is truly disgusting that he was put in that position
@OUFCOfficial After being relegated, I was hoping for some positivity and passion to regalvanise the fan base and bring us all together.
A solemn lesson about time isn't the motivation I needed today.
Bring back the passion.

No tickets available to buy online for tonights Youth Cup game against Manchester United. I'm sure another block will be opened, but the lack of information is a concern if I turn up on the night with my lad without tickets.

Roosken coming in looks like we are settling for 5 at the back.
The Oxford Mail reporting this as the seventh and final deal of the window. Emakhu deal was still believed to be alive.

Nothing personal against Gary Rowett, but he doesn't fit with our football club. He doesn't understand the club or our supporters. Poor ineffective football and can't inspire and unite. No passion or fight. Our club is losing its soul, not just our place in the Championship #OUFC
March 12th 2024.
Bolton 5-0 Oxford United.
League One.
March 12th 2025.
Hull 2-1 Oxford United.
Championship.
We showed what a club and a community coming together can achieve.
It's time to remember what we are capable of.
Passion. Belief. Togetherness.

That is a devastating result.
We all know the importance of that game
But we can all agree the importance we can make in these last few games to get this team over the line.
Weβve waited 25 years to be here
Make your voice counted in the fight for the remaining games
We need it.

Abingdon United, a special mention for you.
The tragic loss of some great people that escape grief, pain, depression, trauma, and other reasons through suicide continues to happen at an alarming rate.
There isn't a simple fix, but the love, hope, and kindness Abingdon United as individuals and as a football club have shown during this tragic time, is inspirational and they are a credit to our county. It won't have been easy, and we are grateful to them for showing us that there is hope and support, and people do really care when maybe we think they don't.
Society has to do more. The government has to do more. There has to be better research and understanding. We are all here to listen and help, but we aren't experts. We need more help so we can make a difference when a fellow human being feels like ending their life is the only option. Very subtle warning signs may be there that we don't pick up on.
Improve mental health funding and research around suicide. General mental health issues can be solved with talking therapies and coping strategies. But when things are more serious than that, much more needs to be available to those in that position, and for friends and family to have the necessary information to make sure the authorities do more to save lives of the people we love.
So many people in our county are close to ending their lives. This needs to be taken much more seriously. Jack won't be the last. Please help us.
Abingdon United and Oxford United, thank you for showing that you care π
Tonight, we are United for Badge.
Tonight, we are United for Jack's family and friends.
Tonight, we are United in showing how much we care about anyone struggling.
Tonight, we are United in grief.
Tonight, Abingdon and Oxford are United.
Tonight, please be there π
