City residents like me should be asking questions, based on the spending numbers reported in outlets like @stltoday. The city, state & feds should absolutely help impacted folks. But @STLCityGov has a troubling recent history of getting $$ out the door. (Look at COVID relief.)
If St. Louis aldermanic president Megan Green really believes in a general strike this Friday, shouldn’t she cancel the Board of Aldermen meeting that day?

It is often said that 90% of success is in showing up.  These words make it easy to understand why St. Louis City is in such a tailspin. On January 7 th …

There’s a good story to be written at some point about how @publiceyestl went from advising strong leaders to being the advisor of choice for weak ones.
@JoeRoddy If I didn't have a friend in the 6th ward who let me move in w her, I couldn't even afford to live in my own ward/care for my kids. I have never used campaign funds for personal use. My life experiences have allowed me to be more empathetic and a better than you could ever be.
Like the empathy you have showed our first woman Mayor who had her husband murdered in front of her 2 young children but stayed in the city filed her reports on time and made enormous sacrifices.

@chryssi you are such a hoot--you didn't file a mec report for years and then put on probation and you still deposited contributions into your personal checking acct and paid your personal bills--your an embarrassment to the entire BofA.
@JoeRoddy Can't wait to not work with you any longer. Despite me trying, you've never given me a chance to talk with you minus how
much you mentioned hating Ogilvie when I got elected. You literally refuse to speak to me. There's a reason my account gets audited constantly (yo boy Reed).
Funny--one of the Keystone Cops complaining about campaign literature while employed by @chryssi the worst MEC record in BofA history with $70k in fines outstanding.
@kaleenamenke @jeffreyboyd@TLIZZYP@MeganEllyia I am glad you chose to live in 17--I spent yrs making it the most "changed" ward in the city--it required 100's of ordinances from stop signs, taxing and parking districts and the city's largest tif for cortex--do you how MIA you would have to be not to pass 1 ordinance in 2 yrs?
Let's be clear this is all about @MeganEllyia Agent of Change? In last 2 years the Megan has sponsored exactly 0 of the about 500 ordinances passed by BofA-but she has unsuccessfully run for higher office 2X's and been fined by MEC 2X's while crimes up and Investment down in W15
Megan Green is making a big gamble. If the board doesn't flip then what? Asking for a friend.
Progressives on the St. Louis Board of Aldermen aim for a majority with campaign push in four wards https://t.co/FUsuB9fska via @stltoday
