I rebuilt https://t.co/6A1645ApFk from the ground up using Claude Code while I was on paternity leave (in between 3am bottles with my daughter).
Year 3, same thesis: finance and technology are more connected than ever, and the companies at that intersection need communications partners who get both.
We've continued to work alongside some of the coolest companies in crypto, digital assets, fintech, and financial services, and AI has become a massive topic for all of them. Both in how it's reshaping their industries and in how communications professionals are using it day to day.
From the start, we built @LayerOneGroup to run on these tools. They're woven into how we research, write, strategize, and execute for clients. When clients and peers started asking how we were doing it, that naturally became its own practice area: AI advisory, helping comms teams figure out which tools and workflows are actually worth their time.
Building this firm has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I've done professionally. Grateful to the clients and colleagues who bet on us early.
Lots of fun stuff ahead. Reach out if you want to catch up.
@lindsmccallum@mia_glaese do you find yourself primarily using the Codex app or still ChatGPT Desktop? trying to figure what the "Claude CoWork" equivalent is for knowledge work. I assume Codex?
@OpenAI@linear@SlackHQ will slack agents always be restricted to just one channel? would be awesome if they could be @ mentioned in any channel in addition to having a specific home if you want.
@businessbarista would love your POV as an AI founder with obvious experience in news media. Will we ever see api access to publications we subscribe to? If I ask one of my agents to research something, they hit paywalls for publications I already pay for. Imagine if I could give my Bloomberg, Information, TechCrunch, etc subscription an API key from my account that I already pay for so that my agents could actually bypass the paywall and include that info in their research. Feel like that would also be a sticky retention angle for publications too…
Love this. Makes me wonder if we’ll ever see news publications take this approach with their content. I’m a paying subscriber to 10+ publications but none of my LLM tools can access the content when I’m doing research. Would happily pay for some kind of api key or password share for my agents to be able to benefit from the subscriptions I already pay for…

very cool. i built something similar to what @osf_rekt described in this article. very basic slackbot that pulls from a notion database that claude built. team loves being able to ping it questions instead of opening up gusto or notion or whatever tool we're burying information in. will have to check out viktor https://t.co/FsaVX8lsQd
@fortelabs I bought one of those PowerPoint presentation clickers and remapped the buttons to my wisprflow hotkeys. Press one button to trigger recording. Press it again to end recording. Second button is remapped to “enter.” It’s pretty sweet ngl
@JJEnglert This is a decent workaround and jared is in the MSFT world but would love a proper official connector upgrade. but if you have windows clients that are comfortable with claude code this is what i've been using as a workaround

I'm hiring someone to join my team at Anthropic to lead Claude Code comms.
This is not a role for someone who wants to run an old playbook. You'll need to be a Claude Code super user, understand developers and dev tools, and have great taste. You'll work hard, learn a lot, and ship with the best people around.
Non-traditional comms paths welcome. My DMs are open!
@ShaneMac Once again showing everyone that you're ahead of the curve on all things leadership and culture. In a world where so many business leaders are stuck in the 2000s, it's refreshing to see someone think 20+ years ahead and have the conviction to act on it. 🫡
@ShaneMac @theLEBRONofQUAN Do you think the shine wears off a bit if Nashville becomes as expensive as Austin because of its success? Or do you view that as a short term perk, but not the sole reason Nashville is great?
@AdamHoge@adamjahns Do you think with the new NFL Kickoff format Tory Taylor could also become our primary kicker for that? Seems like the short field and new rules will really favor ball placement on a kick. And since you don’t have to use the tee anymore…big brain Bears move?
