Well he sure fucked up. Did truckers or drivers in general for that matter learn a lesson after this? First, avoid areas with riots. Second, if it's evident you will be trapped in one, do not stop no matter what -- this is self defense. Third, lock your doors. Fourth, as a last resort, have a gun and know how to use it.
