I’m not suspicious of the govt. I’m suspicious of people NOT suspicious of the govt. They are the ones that will load you into the train, on behalf of the govt
John Thune and a group of Senate Republicans caved to the Democrats today on DHS funding because they got mad at President Trump's anti-weaponization fund.
Yet these very same senators, just a few months ago, fought tooth and nail to pay themselves $500,000 because the FBI spied on them.
They'll protect themselves, but not the innocent, everyday Americans who were targeted by the Biden administration.
This is why folks hate Washington.
Tillis voted for a $500,000 per senator fund for senators who were illegally spied on by the Biden. It wasn’t available to any normal Americans whose rights had been violated—just senators. But now Tillis is mad that actual American citizens might receive restitution. What a clown.
These idiot senators did NOTHING to stop illegal spying and lawfare against innocent American citizens, but as soon as they learned they were spied on, they tried to create a $500,000/each victim slush fund…but just for themselves.
Senate GOP leadership is a clown show from top to bottom.
@BrendanPedersen John Thune and the rest of his piece of shit rinos should just resign. Instead they act like two year olds when they lose. Why would Trump endorse anyone that stabbed him in the back? Now Trump is feeding these losers a shit filled Twinkie.
Trump told Thune exactly what he needed to do to save Cornyn and he gave him months to get it done.
Thune and Cornyn and the rest of the worthless Senate GOP refused to do it, and now they’re acting like a bunch of spoiled crybabies.
Few things more pathetic than a former Republican who lost his political career to a blue state gerrymander becoming a cheerleader for another bad blue state gerrymander because it keeps him on the lib podcast circuit.
Again, this is a professor at Yale University, repeating debunked conspiracy theories because his political ideology has led to him being completely detached from reality. If we didn't have social media, we wouldn't know that some Yale professors have discredited themselves.
Shame on @NBCNews, @SavannahGuthrie, @craigmelvin and @KellyO for repeating an @TheAtlantic story over and over without confirming it for themselves.
It’s a repeat and recycle style news. This isn’t journalism.
Total shame.
Prediction – at first, we won’t see anything from this in the NYT, WaPo CNN, etc. Then, when they can’t ignore it, they’ll explain why it’s actually a good thing.
Every war ever has had a military side AND a political side.
The political side of war in America is this: Democrats are so anti-America, they will openly root for our enemies.
Up to and including offering them aid in their quest to defeat us.
Impossible to fight like that.
