September 27th from the sky and October 22 on the ground. What a radical change. Tar spot is tearing plants apart but the Pioneer is really holding up well even with high winds the last few days.
P0574AM and P0825AM are still standing strong after having tar spot, opening the field up and some strong winds over the weekend. Yields are in the mid 200’s on both. A strong victory for a rough season.
Started too wet... then got too dry... then too wet again. The impact is showing up in stature of the plants but P0306AM is still showing some consistently nice ears. It can really handle the stress!
The impact of tar spot is really showing up in this irrigated plot. Along with the plant health and strong genetics of Pioneer hibreds. The corn revolution is the real deal!
