Make no mistake, the entire industry is unhappy with how Sony is going about things. But they have to be careful with speaking out. The reason they didn't just storm PlayStation HQ with torches and pitchforks in hand is the fear of repercussions. We still wish all PlayStation first party studios would just stand up collectively. It would work, since Sony wouldn't dare to retaliate against their money makers, but it looks like they are too afraid to organize. And we can sympathize. Everybody has to think twice in the current economic circumstances.

Naoki Hamaguchi says it would be a shame to lose the culture around physical media and wants that to remain! Says they are working on arrangements for some kind of physical edition of FF7 Revelation!

Will this hurt sony? Of course not, but it's something to attempt to show there are people still out here that care. I find it very sad that so many people and sites have sided with sony and started to heavily dislike physical media

Look what Shawn Layden said in a interview, how you shouldn't let the fans go:

Sorry, but rentals are not exactly appealing in times in which you needlessly attack physical media and ownership. You could've just continued to make profit off of what you have and respect customers. Strong-arming people into all-digital makes you pretty unlikeable.
