@Mike72Brennan @ClaretBooze I agree but at the same time look at who everyone else was playing. Most PL teams were playing eachother. Against a league 1 side and all of this "squad depth" everyone moans about, we should be more convincing than last night

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@WestHamMatters @jackie_connell It clearly didn't work did it? Perhaps we should have gone in with a different approach

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@WestHam Weekend game against Sheffield United cannot end in anything other than a convincing West Ham win and clean sheet.

You can understand Moyesball against top 6 but I refuse to accept it against sheffield! If he does and we don't look convincing then it is absolutely time to worry.

[West Ham United @WestHam]

Our undefeated European streak continues! ⚒️

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@ClaretBooze Main thing for me was that Mavrapanos was absolute class!

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@Daniellillie99 @westhamonline5 What bugs me though is that Moyes was the one that wanted Aguerd for years! Why buy a player that doesn't suit your tactics. Another reason why Moyes is a sub par manager imo.

@RoshaneSport I too was annoyed at this squad and in turn Southgate. But after time to reflect, Phillips is a defensive midfielder so choosing JWP instead of Phillips wouldn't really make sense.

It's still a joke that Phillips is in the Squad after playing 0 minutes however

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@SkyFootball Absolute joke that both Henderson and PHILLIPS!! have been called up over JWP. Seriously fuck off Southgate, we will never win anything with him as manager

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@premierleague @alanshearer Bias I know but Areola pulled off a man of the match performance against Brighton

[West Ham United @WestHam]

Alphonse Areola. That's it. That's the tweet.

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@steve_cowell @shepherd_1972 @westhamfootball But why though? Surely that's a terrible decision from the manager?

[Dinos Mavropanos @DMavropanos]

I’m excited to return to the best league in the world and it’s a privilege to do so with @WestHam as a team with a rich history. I’d like to thank everyone at the club for their faith in me. I’m really looking forward to getting to work. #COYI ⚒🙌🏽

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@WestHamRambles I don't think he was great but I also don't think he was terrible, maybe somewhere in-between.

My worry is that surely Alverez should be starting instead of him. He is by far the better player with champions League experience and will give us amazing defensive stats plus headers

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@WestHam Most exciting thing that half was the fight in the corner flag with a. Chelsea fan in the home end

[West Ham United @WestHam]

Introducing our new 7-Iron ⚒️

[Joe Whybrow @JoeWhybrow1]

@westhamonline5 Not Moyes ball - absolutely not. I would also prefer watching my team go for a win instead of immediately set up for a draw in the first game of the season

[Will @WillLebeau18]

Moyes has to be one of the worst managers in world football at holding onto a lead.

If you just sit back and invite the pressure, sooner or later they will break you down.
