@BaseballJeff1 @AndyKHLiu I think it's pretty clear they called him up early to try and light up the vets. Then they kind of took things day by day. Again, hard to argue the results. If he comes up and goes 0-12 yikes then they have a tough decision. They picked their spots until he got hot.

@BaseballJeff1 @AndyKHLiu I think you misunderstood me. It didn't make sense at the time, but they decided to ease him in. People always say the giants had no plan. I think its more no one understanded the plan they did have. Hard to argue with the results.

@NBCSGiants @sestes55 If Webb really did ask to go back out and what he said post game was protecting Tony then big yikes on Tony. But if Webb really did say "it's your call" then as a manager you are doing the right thing to pull him. Winn not a good option either way.

@BaseballJeff1 subpar options all around. The moment webb tells vitelIo its his call you pull webb like he did. I think going to Miller once abrams is up in a big spot made sense and he was warming up I believe.

@BaseballJeff1 It will be interesting to see how the FO handles this. They have to find a way to see 10 whisenhunt starts this year and evaluate if he can help next season. Probably tugboat and whitman late in the season too.

@BaseballJeff1 They are probably hesitant to dfa mccray yet, but brennan seems like an obvious choice soon if they feel good about one or two of Hill, Cox, bandura contributing this season.

@BaseballJeff1 Jeff- how long do you think the org waits to make some hard decisions in the minors? There are several guys who need to move up but it would probably take a DFA or 2 to make it happen. Cox and Parks to AAA. kilen and Jordan to AA. Tugboat and whitman to AAA. Level to Eugene.
