Hi everyone! 👋

It's been more than a two-month break since my last post on twitter, and despite I've always been active through social channels (following the news to a greater or lesser extent), I've asked for clarification about the Battlefield live service.

2 maps per season will continue to be the norm for upcoming seasons, with a 'few exceptions' such as Battlefield 6's season 5. The roadmap includes a few additions to the game, but most of them are 'core features' from other titles.

Despite the lack of content, I'm looking forward to playing the upcoming seasons - including the return of Grand Bazaar (Cairo Bazaar) and the naval maps. In terms of weapons, vehicles and gadgets... this content will continue to vary widely across all seasons.

The thing is that the amount of gameplay content we used to have in previous Battlefield games (via Premium subscription) won't return. Instead, Battlefield Studios aims to improve their content 'frequency' starting with season 3.

In short. I'm resuming my work to monitor these content drops carefully, but with an eye toward supporting other development studios such as @WeAreTTKGames and their upcoming online shooter.
