Senior doctors in England who are members of the BMA have voted for industrial action over pay. 76 per cent of consultants voting were in favour on a 52 per cent turnout. Specialist (SAS) doctors were in favour but didn’t hit the 50 per cent turnout threshold.
Labour MPs have all received an invite from the PLP to all join Andy Burnham for a photocall in parliament at 3pm on Monday. While described as “normal” for welcoming a by-election winner, one MP noted: “let the coronation begin.”

I could drone on but several others will do better obits and rightfully talk about how she was the secret weapon behind Star Wars. All one has to do is look at the prequels (which I do love) and the sequels (let's not go there) to see how important her contributions were.
a fun special effects showcase into a tense but exhilarating finale. It's one of the best set pieces in film history for a reason and her work will forever be etched into memories for generations to come; a reminder that we're all still ten years old at heart

Her influence on Star Wars - and American cinema - is unmatched. I'm half way through reading George Lucas's autobiography and I was just reading the chapter about her editing the famous Death Star trench run. It was her instincts as an editor which turned the sequence from
