@JPFinlayNBCS I agree it’s crazy. This was such a gut punch to the fanbase that I think a lot of us lost our minds a little bit. Best thing for me has been to check out of sports for a few days—I realize that’s not an option for you and am sure that’s a TOUGH week at the office.
@sammisilber I’m not asking why they didn’t do this last season. It would be a fair Q, but I’m not asking because it doesn’t matter now. Just glad it’s a thing now!
Russia is killing Americans in the Middle East with drones that help Iran! @Capitals@NHL@ovi8 and what Russians are doing in Ukraine is wrong…..killing civilians everyday….sad day for my beloved DC team!!😞😞😞
@sammisilber We love them. We are high-fiving. We want the season to begin immediately. (Whispering: we want these deals to make us forget that any other player-related news broke today.)
@CRC2622@DCCarViolence@wmataGM@wmata My office is at the wharf. I take the metro to get there. It’s doable, and I love the metro! But I’m sure we can all admit that a 10 (or 15 to L’enfant) walk away from there is not the same thing as there. It’s unfortunately a pretty inaccessible part of DC.
@nick_akridge@MarkBullockNFL I hear that (no pun intended), and I would try to listen and follow along as well as I can if you make it available via pod platforms, even if watching might be ideal.
@nick_akridge@MarkBullockNFL Not that you asked for detailed feedback, but I would LOVE to *listen* to you guys in an audio format. I have no more time in my life for watching screens, but would listen to 100% of your pods with @MarkBullockNFL!
@wmataGM What about “we are holding at this station FOR 10 MINUTES” instead of just “we’re holding here for now”? People need to be able to make informed decisions about alternative transportation. If I need to be in Tenleytown by 6, “we’re holding for now” might as well be silence.
@wmataGM Information during the mess today was unsatisfactory. Train operators MUST be able to give passengers information to make informed decisions about seeking an alt transpo. It’s an old line; things happen. But holding for 3 minutes at each station is very different from 10-12 mins.
