JASON PRIEST: SCORPIONS IN A BOWL
Jason Priest was never created to be an ordinary hero.
He was created to be the man who walks into the places where heroes are not supposed to survive.
Forged through military Special Operations, hardened by missions conducted beyond the reach of headlines and public recognition, and trained as a sniper to understand patience, distance, discipline, and the devastating importance of a single decision, Jason Priest learned early that survival is rarely about being the strongest man in the fight. It is about understanding the battlefield before the enemy realizes there is one.
That is why the scorpion became more than a symbol to him.
Priest studied the creature that survives where others cannot. He understood its patience. Its awareness. Its refusal to waste movement. Its ability to remain motionless until the exact second arrives to strike. And he carried those principles with him into every mission, every confrontation, and every shadowed corner where violence waited.
Never strike angry.
Know the field.
Know the threat.
Strike once.
But Scorpions in a Bowl is about more than one dangerous man.
It is about what happens when dangerous men are confined together, watched by forces they cannot see, manipulated by people who believe walls, authority, politics, and power can control human nature.
Put scorpions inside a bowl and eventually they will turn on one another.
But Jason Priest is not simply another scorpion trapped inside.
He is the one studying the bowl.
Behind prison walls, criminal organizations are forming alliances that were never supposed to exist. Cartels, extremists, killers, traffickers, hackers, and men capable of ordering death from inside concrete cells are beginning to understand that incarceration has not ended their influence, it has concentrated it.
Someone is bringing those forces together.
Someone is building something.
And Jason Priest has been sent into the middle of it.
He does not know whom he can trust.
He does not know how deep the conspiracy reaches.
He only knows that somewhere among the predators is a hand quietly moving the pieces, and when Priest finally discovers who is behind it, the battlefield will extend far beyond the prison walls.
This story was built around a simple principle:
The most dangerous man in the room is not always the one carrying the biggest weapon. Sometimes it is the man who has remained silent long enough to understand everyone else.
That man is Jason Priest.
He has scars.
He has ghosts.
He has enemies who believed they buried their secrets deep enough that no one would ever find them.
They were wrong.
Because you can surround a scorpion.
You can corner him.
You can even convince yourself that you have trapped him.
But eventually you must reach into the bowl.
And when you do—
the Scorpion strikes.

SEVEN DROPS OF JESUS CHRIST’S BLOOD
Seven Moments of Sacrifice. One Savior. One Cross. One Redemption.
Before the empty tomb came the blood.
From Gethsemane to Golgotha, Jesus Christ willingly endured suffering, rejection, wounds, and the cross—not because He was powerless to stop it, but because humanity was powerless to save itself.
Seven Drops of Jesus Christ’s Blood follows the sacred path of His sacrifice, revealing how every wound pointed toward redemption, every drop testified to His love, and every step carried Him closer to the moment when the debt of sin would be paid in full.
The blood of Jesus was not the evidence of defeat.
It was the price of our redemption, the declaration of God’s mercy, and the beginning of a victory that death itself could not stop.
“Seven drops. One Savior. One cross. One sacrifice powerful enough to redeem a world that could never save itself.”

Trust In God: Finding Peace Amidst Life’s Storms
There are seasons in life when the storm seems stronger than our faith, when prayers appear unanswered, and when the road ahead becomes difficult to see. In those moments, God does not ask us to have every answer. He asks us to trust Him.
Faith is not believing that storms will never come. Faith is believing that when they do, God will still be there. He remains our refuge when fear surrounds us, our strength when we feel weak, and our peace when everything around us feels uncertain.
Sometimes God calms the storm. Sometimes He allows the storm to remain while He strengthens the person standing in the middle of it. Either way, His presence is greater than the fear, the pain, and the uncertainty we face.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
When you cannot understand the storm, trust the One who sees beyond it. The storm may shake your world, but it can never shake the God who holds you.

When we carry one another’s burdens, love one another like Christ, and serve with what God has given us, faith stops being something we merely profess and becomes something others can see. AMEN — J.C. Stemple

When Love Becomes Ministry
Sometimes God does not give us a pulpit—He gives us a person.
Someone hurting. Someone discouraged. Someone carrying more than they can bear alone.
Ministry begins when the love of Christ within us becomes the love of Christ extended through us. It can happen through a prayer, a meal, a conversation, forgiveness, encouragement, or simply refusing to leave someone alone in their darkest hour.
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
We were never called merely to receive God's grace and keep walking.
We were called to turn around, reach back, and help somebody else walk with us.
Perhaps the person God placed in your path is not there by accident.
Perhaps heaven is asking:
“Will you minister to them?”

Blessed in Trust
Jeremiah 17 begins with a rebuke. God is calling out the Israelites for their idolatry—for trusting in other gods and forsaking Him and His teachings.
Like a parent with a child who's made a terrible choice, God makes it very clear that these choices have led and will lead to consequences. And yet, rather than only focusing on all that's been lost and will be lost because of Israel’s terrible choices, Jeremiah takes a moment to bring a refreshing reminder:
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.”
Jeremiah 17:7 NIV
He calls those who trust Him “blessed,” even as chaos, sin, and idolatry reign around them. He says that people who trust in God “will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:8 NIV)
We get to choose who and what we worship.
Who is your confidence in? Who do you trust? If you're trusting in the Lord, take heart knowing that in this you are blessed. An abundant life in God, full of fruit even when sin is all around, is the mark of having chosen to trust Him. What an incredible thing it is to be able to make this choice!

When God Calls The Broken
God has never required perfection before purpose. He calls us with our scars, weaknesses, failures, and fears, then transforms what we thought disqualified us into a testimony of His grace. God is not looking for flawless people—He is looking for surrendered hearts willing to let His strength work through their weakness. Our brokenness is not the end of the story; in the hands of God, it can become the place where His power is revealed and others are led to Jesus Christ.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
God does not call perfect people—He calls surrendered people and reveals through them a perfect Savior.

Passing Along God’s Wisdom
What if the choices you make today could shape someone else’s life for years to come?
Proverbs 22:6 says, “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”
It reminds us that our actions don’t just affect us—they also act as an example, guiding and directing others, whether we realize it or not. And which direction we guide others… matters.
When you trust Him, God can use your consistent acts of faithfulness over time to plant His wisdom deep in a person’s heart.
The book of Proverbs is a powerful collection of wisdom meant to teach people how to live well and thrive according to God's values. Throughout Proverbs, parents are encouraged to pass that wisdom on to their children. It’s one of the clearest examples of the Bible telling us exactly what Scripture is for. The goal is not simply to pass on rules to follow, but to train others to see clearly so they can recognize the difference between the path of wisdom and the path of foolishness.
Proverbs 22:6 isn’t saying that parents can control the choices their children make. Instead, it points to the lasting influence of faithful, consistent guidance.
This kind of influence takes time and genuine care. It happens through repeated conversations, everyday choices, Scripture, prayer, correction, encouragement, and setting an example. If you’re not sure where to start, consider inviting a child, friend, or family member to begin a simple practice with you: reading one chapter of the book of Proverbs each day. It is full of God’s powerful wisdom for a thriving life.
Whether you’re guiding a child, mentoring someone younger, or simply trying to live faithfully before others, remember this: you may not see the results of your faithfulness today. That doesn’t mean you aren’t making an impact. Keep going. Trust God with what you cannot see. Trust that when you plant God’s wisdom, over time, it will take root and grow.
