@mgchiversNCG@WestwoodLee@IanJamesPoulter Isn't the point that Westwood and Poulter have had their "value" considerably weakened by being in LIV and, especially, by the way they behaved in the early days? Two golfers I loved to watch and always cheered for became irrelevant and annoying almost overnight. It's all so sad.
@claretblue02@regannnnnnnn_ Maybe, I think he does his work better than most and better than anyone else we have. Either way, it’s nice to be having these discussions after a win ⚒️
@brydog7474@arlowhite LIV existing wasn't a solution to anything though, was it? It's never solved any problem other than, in PIF's own words, to improve Saudi Arabia's reputation.
It's always been a superfluous, pointless addition to men's professional golf; a waste of talent, money and goodwill.
@Quillette I genuinely don't mean this to be rude, but given the level of insight into football included in this article, it may as well have been written by a dog.
@SocialEngland66 The plus side of a World Cup/Euros is that the whole country is involved from Waitrose shoppers to flat-roofed pub regulars; a shared experience which died out in the rest of our culture 15-20 years ago.
The downside is this prick.
@carlton_hero@PaulSpacey The little drag-and-go is a great example of what you're saying (I think).
This stuff is fascinating. Part natural athleticism, part well-honed skill(s) . That's before considering the thousands of hours of pattern recognition and game intelligence.
Pro footballers are good!
@PaulSpacey Clearly, I can't be certain and everything you say about his thinking is obviously correct, I just think one can't underestimate the speed, power and athleticism required at the top level. Even for a 36yo whose pace was never an asset. Interesting discussion either way.
Everytime I think we’ve been relegated there’s this little voice that tells me we’re gonna stay up and I absolutely hate it. Let me be miserable in peace.
@arlowhite@ABFlorida21 Arlo, with respect, this sort of thing is seriously damaging to your reputation.
You are a paid employee of LIV. Your job is to promote LIV. To suggest the opinion of Eamon is compromised by "the financial interests of the PGAT" is hypocrisy.
Play the ball, not the man, mate.
So the KMI panel think that we should have had a pen in the Brentford game for KLP's foul on Soucek but congrats to all the refs involved in the Arsenal varce who waved away multiple identical fouls whilst ruling out our equaliser.
Get rid of it. It's useless.
