Yan Diomande pens an incredibly emotional tribute to his late sister 💔:
🗣️ "Everything I do on a football pitch, it’s for you.
Remember when they took me on trial at Bournemouth? At Chelsea, Rangers, Olympiacos, Crystal Palace? Eze and Olise even came up to me after one training and said, 'Yo kid, you’re really good.'
But they still didn’t sign me.
Even the B teams in the MLS didn’t want me. I didn’t even know why. They never gave me a reason. The adults handled everything. They just kept taking me all around Europe, and everybody kept saying no.
My visa was up. My dream was over. They sent me back to Africa, and we cried together.
You were the one who never stopped believing. A few weeks later, I signed for Leganés and we cried different tears.
That was back when I used to have emotions. Now, I don’t feel anything. It’s like I’m not even human. Since you died, I’m just blank.
I wrote this because I can’t speak about it. I wrote this because I want you to know that I will make sure that you live on. I will make sure that everybody knows your name. The whole world."

@tv3_ghana Eyes have not seen nor ears heard what's going to happen to England if Partey plays. The English team will know what a Colonial Midfieder is.
Sir Thomas Partey is his name. 😎😎
@obiMpenaAustine Freedom of speech is what made Rwanda a graveyard. We don't seem to learn anything until it enters our eyes. A journalist was coldly murdered because someone was exercising his free speech in his own TV station.
@UTDKarra Ghana would have beaten Uruguay if Stephen Appiah the captain had taken the penalty, but guess what Asamoah Gyan was after a record. As a captain, you set the tone for the rest to follow.
@thekingadjor Unfortunately, he said the bitter truth the world doesn't want to hear. The dominoes are falling at the world's biggest football stage, and most y'all are in denial. Messi does not see himself as a special player among his mates because it is a team sport. None is special. 😊😊😊
@_sneakernyame They were slow in the buildup phase allowing Congo to regroup and block passing channels to the attackers. They were not also vertical enough with their passing with less risky passes to their key player. The coach had no solution to Congo's 5-3-2 formation.
