Your take is unfortunately short-sighted and highlights a real lack of understanding of both micro (regime ideology and internal incentives) and macro (great-power alliances and deterrence) political pressures.
North Korea isn’t a radical religious regime trying to impose Kim Jong-un as some divine figure on the world or launch a global holy war. It’s a dynastic personality cult laser-focused on one thing: regime survival. That’s why it’s kept in check by bigger players like China and Russia—who have zero interest in a nuclear war on their borders and would lose far more than they’d gain. Pyongyang knows full well that firing ICBMs at the U.S. triggers mutually assured destruction. End of story.
Iran’s radical theocratic government is fundamentally different. Its ideology (not just survival, but exporting revolutionary Islam) places little value on human life—including its own citizens’ or even its leaders’—in pursuit of “martyrdom” and regional dominance. That mindset makes classic political pressure (sanctions, diplomacy, deterrence) far less effective because they don’t fear the same consequences the Kim regime does. They actively arm and direct proxies (Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis) that destabilize the entire Middle East in ways North Korea never has.
This isn’t about “serving Israel in a land grab.” It’s about the very different nature of the threats: one is a contained, survival-obsessed hermit kingdom; the other is an ideologically driven actor that can’t be deterred the same way and actively spreads chaos through terrorism and proxies. Conflating the two ignores basic geopolitics.
@elonmusk It’s sad but hopefully more resources and engineering can be put into the three cyber truck and model Y to deliver greater mileage packages and better comfort.
@terri4436166795@dpakman The hidden gem is that you can’t win even with redistricting if only American citizens are voters. And that’s what America’s citizens are demanding.
@tedcruz@TuckerCarlson@TuckerCarlson has painted himself into a corner. As actions start happening here in the next weeks by the FBI and DOJ, his last string of hope will snap. As for me, I’m looking forward to the show.
Thank you @BarackObama for everything you’ve done for our democracy. You know how you’ve been a masterclass in protecting it—first by helping orchestrate the Russia collusion hoax to undermine the legitimacy of Trump’s first administration, then with the Affordable Care Act that jacked up insurance costs for blue-collar working families by up to 147%, and now cheering Virginia’s elite gerrymandering that silences the voices of hundreds of thousands of American citizens who disagree with you. Proving yet again that only the ruling class knows what’s best for ‘our democracy.’
To confirm your point! The rich will get richer as they already can and will continue to buy now. So we will be looking at an extreme case of class separation. Greed will look the same if income is abundant—even for the “lower class.” The upper class will hold the monopoly on rental prices, prime real estate leases, and so on and so forth. Except only in the case outlined above will there be zero chance for class or status advancement; it will be generational. Non-owners will be subject to owners. The rich will get richer, continually driving up costs on all goods, all property, and any asset, leaving zero chance and zero path for class advancement. How this is not noticed or identified by some of the bright minds throwing this idea out there, citing that this is a good thing, boggles my mind.
@DrRitaDed That’s definitely taxation without representation. Although the big-government party/Democrats already support taxation without representation and have successfully managed to keep minority races in poverty for decades.
@soapmactavish64@cb_doge@elonmusk It’s an issue regardless, worth talking about now even if it doesn’t affect me in my lifetime the goal should not be instant gratification
@note61763@cb_doge@elonmusk Yes, I’m talking about simply working in a general pursuit of self-betterment through achievement of goals and projects—sometimes difficult in nature—using one’s own ability. I am not talking about being employed or being an employee.
@iam_smx This is simply terrifying! Remove the worth of an individual and that individual will cease to see worth in their neighbor this idea is the calamity of civilization.
@SpockResists I think you might have this backwards. I think the abuse of partner would be the one that’s been sitting on their couch, not paying their dues for the last 60 years while the US has been the only country financially carrying the load.
@JamieBonkiewicz I think you should talk to the citizens of Iran. I mean, I know it doesn’t fit your narrative for you to actually talk to the everyday people of Iran, but rather show your lack of knowledge and understanding by making posts like this.
@GoldenAgeUnfold I failed to see your point of view on all aspects. Attractiveness and beauty stem from within, and please watch her give any speech. Upon completion, if you feel as though there’s even a double-digit IQ, you need to understand that your IQ is definitely challenged as well.
