Kenya is a vibrant country with bustling cities schools accessible by vehicles that have side mirrors everywhere and people who see their reflections daily in water windows and affordable household items. Your narrative ignores this reality and instead pushes the idea that Africans live in isolation without basic amenities. Such remarks do not highlight resilience. They degrade and exoticize us for entertainment.

Even in your apology you failed to take full responsibility. You shifted blame by mentioning not all Africans and a tiny village as if that excuses generalizing an entire people. An empty apology without genuine reflection changes nothing. You should feel free to stay silent next time instead of chasing clout on our backs.

Your pattern of public dramas shows this is not an isolated mistake. You have a history of feuds including with Bhad Bhabie where you sought restraining orders and involved minors. You faced accusations of scamming fans through questionable raffles. Your arrest for domestic battery after allegedly pushing your boyfriend added to the chaos. Pregnancy and baby daddy issues brought more messy public exchanges including problematic social media posts. You have been called out for doxing or targeting people online and even using the death of your late co-star Cameron Boyce for engagement. These incidents paint a picture of someone who thrives on drama and attention without accountability.

The broader streaming and content culture you participate in worsens this. Platforms reward creators who degrade Africans by portraying us as backward helpless or exotic curiosities. It is easy to film a village visit and spin a tale of mirrors and insecurity for likes and views. This content treats us like relics from another era rather than people with rich histories infrastructure and daily lives. It echoes colonial tropes that keep Africa as the perpetual other for Western consumption. Kenya and many African nations face real challenges like poverty in some rural areas inequality and development gaps. Yet we also have innovation tech hubs universities and resilient communities that build despite obstacles. Your comments and similar content do not help address those issues. They exploit them for personal gain.

You owe more than a vague apology. Reflect on why you felt comfortable sharing such a distorted view. Educate yourself beyond surface level visits. Stop contributing to the narrative that diminishes African humanity for entertainment. Kenyans and Africans worldwide are watching and we reject being reduced to your punchline or charity story. Do better or stay out of our spaces.
