@LukeMikic21 And how many other cold wallets have similar "software glitches?" You want to bet your btc on it? Cause that is what your doing. Lets take ledger and trezor word for it cause that makes a lot of sense.
It's quite obvious to me that BTC started out as a way to escape from this corrupt financial system, but eventually it got captured and became a psyop to push people away from gold, and people have fallen for it. And they did so not because they are stupid, but because everyone is concerned about their purchasing power and want to get rich quick. I don't blame them.
Just look at what the most informed players on the planet are doing: they are buying gold, not BTC or crypto. Its only Wallstreet and BTC treasury companies, along with the captured media, that are pushing BTC. This most recent attack is brushed under the rug! That should be the largest red flag.
The US govt is not concerned about other sovereigns adopting BTC, but they are concerned about gold because they need to protect the dollar for as long as they can. Hence, they are ok with BTC now. And as an added bonus to Wallstreet, they can milk the public.
But when people are rigidly stuck on an idea, like religion, they don't, and can't, see the truth no matter what. Trying to get rich quick over powers every sane logic. I am guilty of once being like that.
With this last and devastating attack on BTC self custody, I think its safe to say BTC days are numbered. What self custody wallet can we actually trust? Can we blindly trust that satoshi's wallet will never get drained?
Of course, the BTC cult tech bros will try to explain this away, but not this time. No matter what cryptography jargon is used, trust is gone. The only thing left is hope. Hope that BTC will be okay and go up. Hope that your BTC wont get stolen. Hope that strategy won't liquidate. Hope that quantum computers won't affect BTC. But hope is not a strategy, especially when the our financial house is crumbling.
I am very sorry for the people who loss their BTC. They did everything they were supposed to.
At the end of the day, if you are seeking protection and wealth preservation, get gold, physical gold in your custody. This not a get rich quick trade, it is to protect your purchasing power over the longterm.
Be your own central bank, and watch what they do, not what they say.
