Here's one of the most important items called VIRVE which will be used for multiple communication and lore features in the upcoming builds.

VIRVE means "Viranomaisverkko" in Finnish and roughly translates to "Authority network" which is used by multiple first responders and military.

@FracturedRTS Walling in my base in tib sun is one of my greatest childhood memories. And then the mid subterranean vehicle attacks. Walls are great and it keeps those pesky small unit harasser attacks under control and within range of your defense towers

@FracturedRTS I love this as a concept! The destroyed bridge is great but obviously they wouldn’t build that over a small crater. Also maybe rivers and water features separating parts of the map or even shallow ones you can drive through adds atmosphere

There's currently a community event going on called Shelter Competition.

You can participate simply just by posting a screenshot from your shelter to the RtV Discord.

At the end of April, community will vote three best shelters and those will be awarded with IRL Savotta merch.

Metro 2039, the sequel to Metro Exodus is reportedly getting announced soon, likely next week in a State of Play according to insiders.

This comes right after a 2022 cancelled open world version of Metro 4 was leaked yesterday.
