To give people an idea of how bad things were in the budget hearing earlier, this was VP Sara Duterte repeatedly refusing to answer the questions of House Deputy Majority Leader Janette Garin (1st district Iloilo - Lakas-CMD), choosing instead to repeat the line

"I will forego the opportunity to defend the OVP 2025 budget proposal in a question and answer. I will leave it to the House of Representatives to decide the proposal."

This same mantra went on for about 3 hours. She refused to answer any questions.
