These are photos of Obama at a Palestinian community dinner in Chicago seated at a table with Edward Said, Ali Abunimah and Rashid Khalidi. The latter have both attested to his betrayal and how Obama used to always attend events in their community. In 1999, Abunimah introduced him at a fundraiser for a community center in Deheisha refugee camp in the West Bank. Imagine that.
He used to be that comfortable speaking up for and being associated with Palestinians. While teaching at the University of Chicago, Khalidi lived in Hyde Park close to the Obamas. They became close friends and would have dinner together; they even held a fundraiser for Obama.
🚨 BREAKING:
The BBC has compiled evidence of 160+ Palestinian children deliberately shot in the head by Israeli snipers in Gaza.
The reports state: "Israeli Jews are hunting children for sport."
🚨 BREAKING:
A Jewish student at Rutgers University protested during a lecture attended by an Israeli soldier, reminding him they had killed over 70,000 Palestinians, 200 journalists, 1,700 healthcare workers, and a six-year-old child shot 335 times.
🇪🇸 Spain
Benjamin Netanyahu: "Spain has slandered Israeli soldiers, the most moral army in the world. I have ordered Spain to be excluded from the military coordination center in Kiryat Gat."
Spanish response – Minister Sira Rego:
"We are not slandering you; we are describing you as you are."
"You are a system of extermination and crime, and all of you will stand before the International Criminal Court."
you see this red splotch covering Gaza? it is made of red dots, each single dot represents an airstrike under the Biden’s administration. it took two years of tremendous relentless unforgiving bombing and 4 US vetos to complete. you can’t regret your way out of this.
Oh my God we could have had AT LEAST 12 more fucking years of Lindsey Graham working for Israel and advocating endless war. Just a huge existential threat to humanity, gone. Makes you tear up. Zionism’s strongest soldiers are aging out of existence.
@Tanthiram@N0331Hello Cory committed to a style change that clearly set him back offensively but that is gradually closing imo.
You might be right about Merab, there was a path to win but finishing him was imperative. I admire Linekar fight most. Way worse matchup. Arguably lost but fought GTO
@Tanthiram@N0331Hello He’s just not fast enough to build anything in that Umar fight. For most of his career he lacked enough power in his hands to hurt the best chins in the division. It seems to me like he’s getting more pop in his shots in the figgy and Merab fights though. So I’m optimistic
@Tanthiram@N0331Hello I’ll admit I’m biased for Cory. He has posted numerous hours of content with a sports psych, including his own compelling insights along the way. I’m betting him to win by finish this wknd. If he loses or looks weak this wknd, im all ears.
@Tanthiram@N0331Hello I might be misremembering but I recall you limiting “sandy” on acc of mid-athleticism. That’s a great take long-term but doesn’t mesh with underperformance. The TJ fight scoring is a matter of definition. He was a +300 dog vs Merab? Something like that
